Santa Fe and New Mexico Land Pecos, New Mexico$49,900Five acres of pristine land backing on the Santa Fe National Forest in the Rocky mountains. This rural land is up Cow Creek road, northeast of Pecos, New Mexico. It's about forty minutes from Santa Fe.
The property is on a private road with a locked gate. Further north, the Santa Fe National Forest includes the Pecos National Wilderness, a primitive, alpine area that can only be entered on foot or horse back. The pictures below were shot on the land or very near it. They are poor quality snap shots that were taken very quickly, but give an idea of the wild life that lives in the area. These snap shots of a bob cat, wild turkeys, mule deer bucks and a black bear, were shot on or near property.
There is also a huge elk heard, mountain lions, coyotes, and many other species some of which are very rare. Since the property backs on the National Forest, which is teeming with wild life, it's not unusual for them to come through or near the land. Many of these animals, like mountain lions and black bears are very timid, which will give you an idea of how undisturbed the area is.
